Welcome to our family history site:
The genealogy data found here is the result of many years and many family genealogists working together. A few names being researched by many are Wood, Vickers, Hibbert, Horrocks, Hollopeter, Ewing, Kelley, Kirton, Case, Carbaugh, Reissig, Novak, Webster, Truax, Booth, Woodbury, Constatin, Patterson, Everingham and Patillo.
Getting Started:
You can simply select the link of choice to the right. The first goes right to the main page in the genealogy data area. From there experienced users can find all the information regarding ancestors and decendents of the surnames being researched. Also, check out our new 'Surname Origins' page, it will give a brief description of the surname beginnings and link you to all those in our data with that surname.
If you need basic how-to information select the How-to Guide. In the main site this menu item is followed by FAQ. Another very easy way to journey through CasaWood is by getting our free toolbar. It's safe, makes checking your Hotmail, Gmail or other email accounts a breeze and has Google search and site access a button away. Check it out and I am sure you will come to enjoy it as much as we do. There is even a chat button.
User registration is if you want to actually register to add, edit and download information here. We work to grant registration requests as quickly as possible. Once you are registered you can click on the user login to start working on your part of the family tree. You must be logged in to view full names and information for those living.
You can select the 'surname listing' for all surnames, the 'Wood Side' or 'Hollopeter Side' for those generations from your hosts on back 5 generations or the 'Surname Origins' for history and a link to all with a specific surname.
The 'Family Magazine' area is a new area that is starting to grow. It has stories and memories of the families and towns listed in the genealogy data. We need your stories also, so the next link is to our 'CasaWood Message' where you can interact with all other users. To leave messages or get your own section one quick registration there will take care of accessing the forum. (If you registered for genealogy site access you will need to also register for the forum as I am not very skilled at programming and have not been able to create a single registration access yet, sorry for the inconvenience.)
We look forward to sharing the shade of our family tree with you!
