~ Welcome ~

We are approaching the 4000 name milestone with over 1000 families. With many family genealogists working together our branches and family histories are improving all the time. Whether you want to work on all names or focus on those near and dear to your heart you can do that. This is a family tree so there are many branches and all are welcomed here. Review the photos, documents and stories. Simply register as a new user and I will work hard at granting you access quickly so you can edit and update your families information. In the meantime you can view and search all that is available right now. We now feature Wood, Vickers, Hibbert, Horrocks, Carbaugh, Case, Davis, Woodbury, Crank, Ewing, Kelley, Hollopeter, Richman, Richmond, Patillo, Cook, Novak, Webster, Worthing, Everingham, Stuchell, Spicher, Patterson, Brillhart, Brubaker, Beers and many more with new names added all the time. You can use the 'Surnames' menu selection to see all the names being researched at CasaWood.

Check out the new wiki family magazine, submit your stories or use the power of the wiki to write and edit your own. Watch your branch grow as you add these exciting aspects to the data found in our TNG site. It is fun to share your stories and memories with others who climb among the branches and relax in the shade of our history. Remember, you do not have to be a direct link to the site adminsitrator, this is for all branches to have a place to coordinate their efforts as we get to know our ancestors better. Register and enjoy.

We want to pause for a moment and give a special thank you to James Stuchell for all his hard work and contributions that have helped us grow in numbers, photos, history and so much more. We also want to welcome Sylvia Copeland, a friend of the Hollopeter family, we look forward to sharing much with her. We cannot say thanks without also tipping our hat in appreciation to Jared Novak who helps with the Hibbert, Webster and Novak line.

Family History Magazine This area was the original area for family history stories you want to share. It is still active for a time while we transfer the stories to the new wiki family magazine format. If you read something that isn't as you recall please let us know so we can improve the accuracy of the history. If you have a story you would like to add go to the wiki family magazine and begin a new page there. If you need help let us know.

Wiki Our Wiki Family Magazine Follow this link to our new wiki site which will be the exclusive home of our family magazine soon. If you see the icon next to a name in the TNG data area click on it to go to the corresponding wiki page. Eventually all stories about the people and places found here will be in the wiki site. The TNG data site will be where the information, pedigrees, and other data will be found as that is the power and strength of TNG. Wiki sites have their strength in the ease of adding and editing text based information which is why we have moved to this style for the family magazine. It should be easier for all our user to write, edit, print and read the stories behind the data. Feel free to provide us with your feedback. The message center will also close soon and we will have a community portal page in the wiki area for comments as well as an event page for announcing events.

CasaWood Message Center The community message center has been for everything from genealogy to laughter. Due to the lack of use and the challenges some users had in using it we are in the process of developing a community information area at the wiki side of our site instead. For now you can use the message center as we will announce when it will be closed after we setup and test the wiki Community Portal section. These things take time but in the end it should make sharing messages and information easier. Do you have a favorite family recipe from one of your ancestors? We are looking for one to use as a test page to help us develop the format. If you want to help us with this please send us your recipe, it will be the first one featured for all cousins to share.

CasaWood Home Page You are invited to visit our main page for family photos, Gary's poetry and spoken word, updates and other links.
